The Varsity Barber Shop was established in 1892. The current location is the 3rd location. The Varsity has been located here since 1970. It is one the oldest businesses in Gettysburg. Tom and Steve Lingg are the current owners of The Varsity. Combined we have over 65 years of experience.

​We offer our clients a wide range of services from beard trimming, hair styling, and even eyebrow trimming. Our retro style shop gives men the opportunity to have their hair treated by professionals that know men's hair.

Meet the Owners

Steve & Tom Lingg

Locally born and raised in Emmitsburg, MD. Steve the Elder Brother of Tom has 33 years of experience. Tom follows close behind with 32 years experience. The Lingg brothers started out from the same shop in Gettysburg their Father took over and grew. Combined the these brothers have 65 years of experience grooming distinguished gentlemen. The Lingg brothers bring a level of premium quality to a whole new high.  Steve and Tom carry on the tradition and history of Varsity Barber Shop to this day. They have both earned a Master Barber Certificate from the State of Pennsylvania.
